JAWUG

Start off by getting an understanding of the different types of Nodes that we will build the network from. Visit NodeTypes to read up on everything Node'ish. Visit NodeInfo to see info in all the operational nodes.

If you have trouble understanding some of the Terminology, read up on it.

Then if you think you may be interested in joining, visit http://www.wug.za.net and register your node on our "Wugplotter" so that others can find you, and you can find others near you. (Please! Even if you dont have hardware right now, Do this RIGHT NOW, it will only take a few minutes. It helps us in planning, and may even result in us sponsoring your hardware)

There's a basic page on Security. The Jawug network is not access controlled or encrypted, it is up to the end user to ensure that they are safe (Much the same as the internet).

All routing is done dynamically, so once you're online and configured, it'll take about a minute for you to be able to access the entire mesh directly connected to you.
