JAWUG

So you've made a new friend through Jawug, and you're willing to let them use your Internet connection over the network.

We dont mind this, as long as you're not trying to make money out of it. Dont think we wont notice if you start a WISP on our blood, sweat and tears.

Here are some rules:
1. NEVER inject a default route into the Jawug network.
2. Proxy servers or VPN's are the recommended way (and only way, if you obey rule 1)
3. Remember, Jawug is a community network, so there will be reliability problems.
4. Keep it secure, make sure you can control who can and cannot use your internet access

OpenVPN is the best way to do this. OpenWRT has OpenVPN packages... use them. This way all the routing is done on one device.

The Jawug team will ignore any complaints resulting from you sharing your Internet connection.
"I found this guy using my internet! make him stop!!!!" - Not our problem (Rule 4)
"I'm getting internet access from Nodewhatever, but it goes down often" - Again, not our problem (Rule 3)
"I did something silly with OLSR, and now my 3GB cap has been reached" - Cant help you there... (Rule 1)
