Wireless Access Point WAP54G.jpg

Summary of WAP54G revisions:

V1.0 8Meg RAM, 2Meg Flash, Mini-PC Broadcom 802.11 b/g adapter. All in all a nice device, but very easy to Brick, due to the fact that the bootloader doesn't properly work in order to recover via Ethernet TFTP
V1.1 8Meg RAM, 2Meg Flash, wifi adapter on-board, TFTP supposedly works for firmware upgrades
V2.0 16Meg RAM, 2 Meg Flash, integrated wifi adapter. The best revision so far.

So, how do you know which revision of WAP54G you have? Easy: Turn it over, and look for the sticker with the serial number/mac address on it (it's normally stuck to the blue portion). If it says WAP54G, it's a V1.0. The others all have the revision number postfixed to the 'WAP54G' text.
