Finally connected ShadowSA, next step to link up with the Wild West Mesh .

2005/11/11: Got a new toy and tested it a Flat Panel all I can say is wow it rocks, did the testing inside my house, yea not even outside, my first thought was I would only get a partial signal, but what do you know full house –55 & -89 if you ask me that’s darn good, ok now for the download taking into account my grid is outside we connecting to the same point on the grid also signal –55 & -89 endless download on the grid was a whopping 1.02 mb/s and the Flat Panel was 989 kb/s not so far off the grid also taking into account the grid was outside, also another thing I noticed was the fluctuation on the grid, the panel seemed to be a hole lot more stable. Distance tested over was 0.65 km.

In my very own opinion the Panel is the better choice as it out performed the grid taking into account the grid is 24dbi and the Panel is 18dbi.

The Panel is nicely finished off has good mounting plates and brackets and looks like a very stable design.
