This is a page where you can each add suggestions as to how we can get poor Ryder (ME) back on IRC during business hours.

The IT Department at my work have decided to restrict our internet so much that a one eyed pigeon with bubonic plague has more chance of getting to a website than I do.

So Suggestions people:

1. Assasinate the IT Manager 2. Assasinate the IT Manager 3. Assasinate the IT Manager 4. Use Dial Up Modem

FragtioN's suggestions: HTTP mIRC proxy/tunnel of some sort? What about jawug's CGI-IRC ?

Tunnel may be a way - if I can get frigging home internet up... CGI-IRC does not work thru our firewall - something to do with streaming extensions...

FragtioN's suggestions(2): What about GPRS? IRC over 3G/GPRS is really cost effective considering u were speculating a dial-up modem...

Rsachoc's suggestions (3) Try this http://www.htthost.com/ ---- get httport and see if you can tunnel IRC through the proxy (assuming they have one) ----- note! this may get you into trouble!
