- Daffy: I beg to differ... the LinkSys WRT54G (which supports b and g) is still cheaper than the cheapest Senao (b only) AP. And it has a whole lot more functionality. (You can buy them from UnitermDirect for under R600)

+ A Flat Panel antenna is a directional antenna like a Yagi. Typical you would use this on a client installation and not on a High Sight.
+ A flat panel will Range typically from 8 to 18 dbi depending from the degree the antenna cover. With the right Radios in place you can connect with a 8 dbi up to 2km and with a 18 dbi up 15km but that purley with the right radois in place.
+ For very far link the g standard is not a very good option but for links up to 5km - 30km b is recommended. Keep in mind the bandwith isn't much but what ells do you need for internet traffic.
+ I would consider the Senao 11Mbps Range tepiclly for internet sharing and price
