+ Ok It has been confirmed the Linksys WRT with any firmware mods DOES NOT talk to the gigabytes, I am going to leave these gigabytes alone for a little while. I am going to get a linksys or an asus (I think) to play around with, then replace the gigabytes and REALLY stuff around with them, at this point in time I cannot afford to brick ANY but soon I will have the oppertunity to play with one and if I brick it I dont care too much :) --- %%%

+ I have been going at it now for about two weeks with no luck. I cannot seem to get the Gigabyte B49G to establish a link with a Linksys WRT54G access point. When the two are in the same building they only communicate when both have been set to auot/best speed and they pump about 20mbit through, so I know they do work together. Just when setup over a long link I cannot get them talking. I think that it is an issue with the fact that they cannot seem to establish a link on auto/best but as I said that was the only way that I could get them to talk. I am not running the Linksys native firmware, I am running Satori on it because the native firmware cannot be set into client mode. The Linksys and Gigabyte do not seem to use the same standard for WDS so I was unable to get a link that way. I know for a fact though that both of the Access points actually work. I have set both into access point mode and with a laptop and a 21db grid I can associate with both ap's from each side of the link at 20dbm+ so its not the link thats setup incorrectly. I am going to be getting myself a Linksys WRT45G when I get paid to set one up at my side and make the link work :P . --- %%%

+ OK so we are going to try hack the gigabyte AP's the "progress" will be pasted on GigaByteHacking, so please check it out if your intrested. --%%%
+ I have alot of respect for the tiny little Gigabytes, I suppose that its because I use it, but it seems to have great potential. The thing that I find remarkable is that there is NO information on the net to indicate that anybody has tryed to hack these things before, Now that the source has been released I hope that it will change.--%%%
